Networking Platform for Austrian Camp Communities
The Nazi concentration camps were liberated in 1945 and survivors have been working tirelessly and intensively ever since to communicate to young people the terror of National Socialism and the dangers of fascism and intolerance.
In 2009, the Auschwitz, Buchenwald, Dachau, Flossenbürg, Mauthausen and Ravensbrück concentration camp communities joined forces to form the Networking Platform for Austrian Camp Communities.
Their aim is that the continuity of their organisations' work be secured, something that is particularly important due to the number of survivors who are forced to reduce or stop their activities due to advancing age.
